The Community Telecenter in Mwanza offers the following services:
Training is offered at our training wing, which is housed off Uhuru Street.
Computer Courses for beginners and advanced learners are offered.
Recently, computers have become popular instruments for technological
advancement. People in almost all sectors of economy are applying computers
in one way or another. However, being machines they cannot perform without
being driven. Hence computer knowledge is inevitable to almost every human
being.
Having this in mind, Community telecentre is organising computer short
courses to the community of Mwanza. It has been observed that, though
same course can be taken by different group of people, it is wise to separate
these groups and teach them differently. The following groups have been
identified:-
· Secondary School levels ( Form IV and VI).
· Working (in-service) such as low level staff like secretaries,
clerks, low level administrator's etc.
· Managers and Top level administrators.
· Technical staff who may need specialised courses and monitoring
